Why 'school-ready' means more than academics
The year before Grade 1 matters, not because children need to arrive 'ahead,' but because they need to arrive confident. KG2 balances real academic readiness in reading, writing and math reasoning with the social and emotional skills that actually determine how a child settles into 'big school': following multi-step instructions, resolving small conflicts, and sitting through a full activity.
